I know it is only the beginning of September, but if you’ve ever tried to buy a Halloween shirt or costume in October, you know you’re often out of luck. I’m not a big costume person anymore (although I definitely was as a kid) and trick-or-treating with my girlies is the highlight of our Halloween, but it is still fun to be a little festive. I’ve pulled together some fun, mostly casual, stylish halloween outfits and clothes for women. You could wear most of these to work or repeat them year after year because they’re pretty timeless. Let’s dive in!

These glam gloves are the perfect addition to an existing costume or you could just add them to an all black outfit and use them year after year. Love the jewels! Wonder what this lady did in her past life….
This is what I’ve been eyeing for a few years (it went out of stock last year so don’t wait!). You could re-wear this every year and it will always fit! Yay for ponchos! But seriously, how cute is it?! It looks like a full-on costume but has the comfort of a lightweight sweater. Yay to that!
Clearly, I love a poncho for Halloween. They keep you warm and they have you looking trick-or-treating ready in no time. Plus, spiders never go out of style for Halloween. I’d pair with these faux leather Spanx that I’ve been hearing rave reviews about.
The Great Pumpkin Sweatshirt
This just screams Halloween movie night at home. So cozy and cute for you Charlie Brown fans.
Spooky Button Up Blouse
This would be fun for a more conservative office where you still want to celebrate the holiday, but in a more subdued way.
These just look so cozy that you’ll want to wear them until Thanksgiving at least. I’d pair these with a black tunic for an easy and comfy look.
I love a sweatshirt and this one is festive without being too gimmicky.
Ouija Board Sweatshirt
Did you have a ouija board? I did and I absolutely love this sweatshirt. It’s out of stock, but if you tell Modcloth you’d liked to see it added back (there’s a little button you press on the item) they will hopefully re-stock it. This is my top pick after the skeleton or spiderweb poncho so I hope they add it back.
Good Witch/Bad Witch Sweatshirt
Have you seen those pillows with the sequins that you can brush back and forth to show a different image? This is the same thing in sweatshirt format. One way says “good witch” and the other says “bad witch.” How fun is that? This is junior’s sizing so definitely size up.
Halloween Favorites Sweatshirt
I’d argue that you could wear this into November, it just looks so cozy and I love the gray wash. I believe this is also Juniors sizing so I’d definitely go up a size in this too.
That’s a wrap! Hope you found something spooky whether you spend the holiday on the couch (I’ll be watching The Shining post trick-or-treating!) or you plan to party it up!
